Rating by category:
I liked that it was close to Lambton Quay for the shopping and that we could access it through City Life or Whitcoullls. It is also close to the Cable Car which was great. It was fantastic that both units we had booked were opposite each other. Thanks for arranging that.
I stayed in unit 315 (left hand side unit at end of hall) which has a dripping leak in the toilet which was a bit annoying.
Very well equipped with all necessities
It's a long haul uphill until you learn the ins and outs of Auckland's lifts
The room was very quiet. It was on the third floor and I never heard any other guests. Although the view was out over a car park, it still felt private and when I closed the curtains at night it became my own little world.
The area around the ground floor lift had an unpleasant smell. This disappeared once inside the lift and off upstairs. The receptionist made several mistakes in the check in and out process; in particular when I checked out she tried to charge me when I had already paid by credit card at the time of on line reservation. Even though I pointed this out she still put a charge through, printed the receipt and handed it to me to check. Just as well she did this because it showed up not as mine but as some other customer in some other room. So she had charged his credit card without him knowing. She had also charged for one night and I had stayed for two nights. I would still recommend this hotel, just be sure to check all documents and details when checking in/out.
Off the beaten track while still being in the heart of the city, reasonably clean, great facilities, affordable.
Walls needed some fixing up, bathrooms could do with a polish, closed in by buildings on all sides.
The layout, comfort and cleanliness of the aprtment.
The broken washing machine in the apartment and the very negative attitude of the general manager to our compliant about that machine. I shall write to you at length on this matter on our return home in November.
I felt the cost was very reasonable for the weekend of Wales vs SA and the location made it easy to get around.
It is nit picking but for the sake of being constructive. - You need to wash the curtains as they have mould on them. - The sheets and pillow cases are a little rough.
We booked 3 rooms. 2 of the rooms were on the top floor and were excellent. All 3 rooms were spotlessly clean. Linen was of good quality and the utilities such as cook top, convection oven and washer/ dryer were very good quality also. Situated only a short walk to the water front and museum. Parking was also very easy. The 3rd room was on the ground floor. The only thing letting this room down was that it did smell a little damp. Staff did address this however and managed to freshen the room up considerable in a short period of time. Over all an excellent facility maintained to a high standard.
Very hepful staff at the reception. Excellent, luxury facilities - very good value for money.
No complimentary millk.
Lication to entertainment venues
Dirty tissues beside the couch when we moved in!!
Great location, kitchen included
High price, no view, dirty windows, no free internet
Central location (however everything is fairly central in Wellington), very friendly and helpful receptionist;
Tiny room, small double bed (too soft and bouncy like a trampoline, we didnt get much sleep on it), the hotel is accross the street from a multistorey car park hence woken up by tyre squeels of cars manouvring around the car park; appeared clean yet I found previous guests' used soap and half empty shampoo vial forgotten in the shower. Ok to stay one night but I would choose a different hotel for anything more than that.
Very good value in the heart of Wellington
A little impersonal but great for one night stop
The location and the facilities. Cormfort and service.
we were pleasantly surprised because it was an older looking hotel on the outside, tucked away between buildings including car parks, but the inside was newly refurbished and an idyllic spot for what we wanted, close to shops and especially Micheal Fowler Centre, the staff were very helpful and courteous, we would recommend and stay again
